What's in a GLV rebuild kit?
Kits vary by pump family, but typical contents include poppets and poppet springs, valve plate gaskets, reservoir cover gaskets, oil baffle gaskets, and — for clapper-style decks — zytel clappers and standard springs. Minor kits cover top-end rebuilds (clappers or poppets); major kits cover full rebuild contents. Kit pricing reflects a discount from individual component pricing. Each product page lists the exact contents of that kit.
Which rebuild kit fits my pump?
Kit compatibility depends on your pump's model and valve deck style. 412J pumps use 412J kits — not interchangeable with H-series or older clapper-valve decks. If you're unsure, call (888) 633-7127 with your pump's serial number and model designation and we'll confirm the right kit.

What's the ultimate vacuum of a rebuilt Stokes 412J pump?
A properly rebuilt Stokes 412J Microvac rotary piston pump should reach its OEM-specified ultimate vacuum — typically in the low micron range for a single-stage rotary piston pump. We performance test every rebuild for four hours monitoring vacuum level, temperature, and motor amperage, and we can provide test results on request.
